Lead Generation Specialist - Laboratory Express

Drive business growth for Laboratory Express by identifying and qualifying potential healthcare facilities, laboratories, and medical practices that need reliable laboratory logistics and specimen transport services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Research & Identification:

  • Research and identify potential clients including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, diagnostic centers, and medical practices
  • Build targeted lists of healthcare decision-makers (lab managers, practice administrators, procurement directors)
  • Analyze market trends in the healthcare and laboratory services industry
  • Monitor competitor activities and identify market opportunities
  • Use LinkedIn, healthcare directories, and industry databases to find prospects

Outbound Prospecting:

  • Conduct cold calls to healthcare facilities to introduce Laboratory Express services
  • Send personalized email campaigns to qualified leads
  • Reach out via social media platforms (LinkedIn, professional networks)
  • Follow up consistently with prospects at different stages of the sales funnel
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for the sales team

Lead Qualification:

  • Assess whether prospects fit Laboratory Express's ideal customer profile
  • Determine the volume and type of laboratory logistics services needed
  • Identify decision-makers and understand their purchasing process
  • Qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT)
  • Score and prioritize leads for sales team handoff

CRM Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in CRM system (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Update lead status and pipeline information regularly
  • Track key metrics: calls made, emails sent, leads generated, conversion rates
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on lead generation performance
  • Keep database clean and compliant with healthcare regulations

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales team to ensure smooth lead handoff
  • Coordinate with marketing on campaigns and content
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and conversion rates
  • Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions
  • Share insights about prospect needs and market trends

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or business development
  • Healthcare or laboratory industry experience is a strong plus
  • Experience with B2B sales or medical services preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
  • Experience with lead generation tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Outreach, SalesLoft)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace)
  • Understanding of healthcare terminology and laboratory services (preferred)
