Job Description

The Owner’s Representative shall provide comprehensive Technical Project Engineering Services for Facilities Capital Construction Projects. The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the assigned projects, ensuring compliance with companies objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality standards. These services shall include, but are not limited to, planning, design coordination, procurement management, construction oversight, and project close-out activities.


Duties:


Project Initiation

▪ Identify business needs.

▪ Form project team.

▪ Develop initial project scope.

▪ Initiate feasibility studies.

▪ Establish budgets and preliminary schedules.


Planning

▪Draft the stakeholder management plan.

▪Finalize PEP.

▪Define WBS and scope phasing plan.

▪Develop risk and procurement strategies.


Design

▪ Establish design requirements.

▪ Develop and refine design.

▪ Validate design decisions.

▪ Align design with requirements and constraints.

▪ Incorporate stakeholder inputs and value engineering.


Construction

▪Lead negotiations and award contracts.

▪Monitor construction progress.

▪Answer and close RFIs and submittals.


Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV)

▪ Execute commissioning and validation plan.

▪ Finalize system testing.

▪ Schedule end-user training.


Handover and Closeout

▪Transfer completed facilities.

▪Finalize project documentation.

▪Conduct lessons learned.


Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel – Intermediate; must be comfortable with producing spreadsheets, using accounting data formulas, pivot tables and charts.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience. PMIS experience (e-Builder / Procore, etc.)
  • BS in Engineering / Construction Management related course of study.
  • PMP credential preferred.



The hiring range for this position is $65 to $85 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
