Our client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Mammography Technologist to join a busy, patient-centered breast imaging center on a full-time basis.
Position Details:

Full-time, Day Shift

4x10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday + 1 Saturday/month (clinic closes at 1:30 PM)

Position Summary:
The Senior Mammography Technologist will perform mammographic procedures used to assist physicians in the detection of abnormalities, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Completion of an approved Mammography Technology program
Licensure/Certifications:
-
Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) license or temporary license (required)

Basic or Advanced Life Support certification
-
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)
-
Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M)
Experience:
-
Minimum 4 years of prior mammography experience
-
Ability to safely lift or assist in moving patients as required
Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic mammography procedures, ensuring proper positioning, technique, and image quality

Maintain compliance with radiation safety procedures and protocols

Prepare and educate patients before and during procedures

Monitor, record, and update patient data within imaging systems

Conduct quality assurance on mammography equipment and assist with ACR and other accreditation processes

Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to leadership

Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced staff

Support continued learning, departmental goals, and uphold a high standard of patient care
-
May be required to take emergency calls within the department
