Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapy professional is needed to provide prehensive services across a K-12 school setting, focusing on PreK through 12th-grade students. This contract position offers an immediate start and extends through the full 2025-2026 school year. The role involves delivering skilled therapy to support students fine and gross motor development, ensuring their ability to participate fully in educational activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop individualized therapy plans.
- Providing direct occupational therapy services both in person and via teletherapy.
- Collaborating with educators and healthcare providers to support each students needs.
- Utilizing specialized skills in fine motor and gross motor interventions to enhance student performance.
- Supporting home health and healthcare occupational therapy services as needed.
- Documenting progress and municating effectively with all members of the students support team.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification in Occupational Therapy or as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy, including working with K-12 students.
- Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of fine and gross motor skill development.
- Ability to provide home health occupational therapy services is advantageous.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
