About the Role:

As an Assembler, you’ll play a key role in building the components we supply to the liquid food industry. You’ll take individual parts and assemble them together into finished products. Once the parts are ready and have passed quality checks, you’ll package and label the final products so they can be moved into our warehouse. You’ll work in a clean-room, temperature-controlled environment where we maintain high standards for cleanliness and safety. Your attention to detail will help ensure every product meets our ISO 9001:2015 quality requirements. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team on the assembly line, supporting one another to maintain a steady, efficient workflow. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right, is focused on achieving productivity goals, follows safety procedures, and cares about delivering quality products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One-year prior experience with assembly processes and use of hand tools.
  • Basic understanding of production line operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in medical or electronics assembly.
  • Certification or training in safety procedures related to manufacturing.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including overtime if required.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow assembly work instructions.
  • Perform assembly of parts and components using hand tools or machines.
  • Select and handle components using both tools/machinery and methods identified in the assembly instructions.
  • Identify, move, stage and dispose of materials to support production.
  • Accurately assemble, package and label products to the documented product requirements.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished assemblies. Identify recommended solutions and notify supervisor immediately of issues.
  • Ensure inventory quantities reported are accurate through daily usage reports, spot checks, and cycle counts.
  • Follow ISO 9001 related quality policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain assembly room integrity by wearing required attire (may include hairnet, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, lab coat, and a beard cover if applicable).
  • Inspect assembled products for quality and report any defects or inconsistencies to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on the production line.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and adhere to company safety standards.

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
  • Safety management mindset and ability to wear the required clean room attire.
  • Strong focus on quality control.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Ability to comprehend manufacturing and production documents.
  • Ability to regularly life and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to sit or stand at workstation for the majority of the shift, in a closed assembly room environment.

Flexible hours between 7:00am - 5:00pm
