Location: Greensboro, NC
Compensation: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary/Part-Time (First 8 Weeks) with conversion to Permanent/Full-Time.

Initial Phase: The first 8 weeks of this engagement will be on a temporary, part-time basis. This period serves as an introduction to our clinical operations and team culture.

Conversion: Upon successful completion of the initial 8-week period, there is an opportunity to convert to a permanent, full-time Director of Nursing position.
Job Summary
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for leading the delivery of quality clinical services within assigned agencies. You will ensure that training for all Clinical Managers and field clinicians is standardized, comprehensive, and effective. As a leader, you will represent the organization in a professional and responsive manner, maintaining high standards of patient care and customer service in accordance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Development: Partner with the Director of Operations (DOO) to interview and onboard Clinical Managers and Caregivers; provide ongoing mentoring and guidance.

Clinical Oversight: Oversee the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and coordinate all plans of correction and quality initiatives.

Compliance: Participate in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with State, Federal, and Accreditation standards.

Training: Ensure the competency program is followed and provide educational support for clinicians’ skill development.

Operations: Identify clinical and quality metric trends to implement corrective actions; support mergers and integration projects as required.
Role Qualifications

Licensure: Unencumbered RN License in North Carolina (or Multi-State/eLNC).

Experience: At least 1 year of supervision experience as a Registered Nurse.

Knowledge: Working knowledge of home care regulatory and federal requirements.

Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).

Certifications: Valid driver’s license; current CPR card (must include in-person instructor-led hands-on skills check).

Screenings: Clear Background, Hep B, and TB screenings.
Schedule & Benefits

Temporary Phase: Part-time hours (to be coordinated during the interview process).

Permanent Phase: Monday – Friday, Core Business Hours (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

This is an office-based role involving sitting, standing, and significant telephone communication.

Must be able to meet deadlines and handle stressful situations professionally.

Travel may be required by car to local patient homes or other Branch locations within the designated area.
Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
