In our 53-bed unit, you will provide care for a diverse array of patients in adult cardiology and medical-surgical specialties. This includes managing conditions such as pacemaker placements, congestive heart failure (CHF), acute coronary syndrome (ACS), telemetry monitoring, and chronic illnesses like diabetes, COPD, and addiction. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct, compassionate patient care while upholding our organization’s high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each patient.
  • Advocate for patients by providing education and emotional support, assisting them in navigating their health journeys.
  • Utilize advanced electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and ensure seamless care.

Qualifications

What We Are Seeking:

Education:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program as required for licensure.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred. If you are currently pursuing your BSN, we encourage you to apply!
  • For specific roles, a BSN is mandatory. However, we also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience, or completion of our RN Residency program (or an equivalent program).
  • Additional clinical experience may be necessary, depending on the department.
  • Acute care experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train nurses who demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow.

Skills & Qualities:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in navigating and utilizing electronic health systems.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as each day presents unique challenges where your expertise will be invaluable.

Licensure

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Pay Range

USD $54.37 - USD $81.21 /Hr.
