Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate with a strong interest in long-term placement. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse organization and stocking, specifically in arranging space based on incoming shipments while ensuring access to key areas is maintained.
With daily container arrivals, the candidate should be proficient in managing both rack and floor storage, as well as coordinating transfers between locations and preparing orders for shipping to retailers. This role will involve working with and fulfilling purchase orders from our retail partners, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. The candidate may be required to work at nearby warehouse locations as needed (approximately 2 miles away), with transportation provided to and from these locations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Organize and stock inventory based on incoming shipments
· Optimize warehouse space while maintaining accessibility and safety
· Unload containers and manage incoming freight
· Load and unload carriers (LTL/TL) safely and efficiently
· Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
· Manage both rack and floor storage systems
· Coordinate transfers of inventory between nearby warehouse locations
· Prepare and stage orders for outbound shipments to retailers
· Fulfill purchase orders accurately and efficiently
· Palletize products according to shipping requirements
· Label products and shipments in compliance with retailer standards
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· Prior experience in warehouse organization and stocking
· Ability to optimize storage space based on incoming shipments
· Experience operating a sit-down forklift
· 6+ years of forklift operation experience
· Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:20 PM
· One 30-minute unpaid lunch
· Two paid 10-minute breaks
