We are hiring for a client of ours seeking an Entry-Level CNC Machinist to join their manufacturing team producing cable accessories. This role is ideal for someone early in their machining career who is looking to gain hands-on experience operating CNC equipment and learning manufacturing processes in a production environment.
The CNC Machinist will assist with machine operation, basic setups, part inspections, and maintaining production quality standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a permanent employee based on performance and attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Assist with basic machine setups and tool changes
- Inspect finished parts using measurement tools to ensure quality
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with supervisors regarding production or quality concerns
Qualifications:
- Basic machining knowledge or technical school training preferred
- Ability to read measurements and use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods
