Overview

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an HR Specialist I to support a high-volume hiring ramp. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Job Title: HR Specialist I
Location: Tolleson, AZ
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Tolleson, AZ
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications
• Make inbound/outbound calls to candidates and respond to inquiries
• Support hiring events (job fairs, open houses, community events)
• Maintain candidate tracking and HR records in systems/spreadsheets
• Provide general HR administrative support (data entry, filing, documentation)
• Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HR policies

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1–3 years of business or administrative support experience (HR experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills (phone, email, messaging)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience
• High-volume hiring or recruiting support
• Coordinating hiring events or job fairs

Additional Information
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring initiatives is a plus
• Experience coordinating hiring events or job fairs preferred
• Flexibility to support onsite and offsite hiring events, including occasional evenings or weekends, may be required

• No third party resumes will be accepted
