Carrie Joos Farmers Insurance Agency is hiring a Customer Service Representative.

Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:

  • Must possess the ability multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Have a Property & Casualty Insurance license. (or obtain one prior to starting)
  • Be trustworthy, dependable, and ethical.
  • Must be coachable.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be motivated and determined.
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.

Responsibilities

As a Service Representative you will:

  • Work closely with our Producers to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients
  • As a CSR, your responsibilities will include preparing and processing quotes, proposals, applications, endorsements and certificates of insurance
  • You will review, and update policies
  • Handle customer phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and general correspondence
  • Maintain client activity tracking, files, billing, process payments and monitor accounts receivable


Requirements

  • Over 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Dynamic, kind, and caring demeanor
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills
  • Desire to work towards measurable quotas and bonuses.
  • Currently possess a property & casualty insurance license or be able to obtain (prior to starting)
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Organizational Skills a MUST
