Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in a school setting in Espanola, NM, serving students from kindergarten through 6th grade. The role involves managing a caseload of 10-13 students with diverse special education needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instructional support and services to students in grades K-6.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance learning outcomes.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to start immediately and commit through the end of the school year.
