Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to provide onsite support at an elementary school in Arvada, CO. This contract role, beginning ASAP and concluding in May, offers a full-time schedule focused on delivering comprehensive psychological services within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for approximately 40 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide consultation and counseling services aimed at promoting student well-being and academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional standards
Required Qualifications:
- Hold a Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to clearly articulate experience and expertise
- Energetic, lively, and positive demeanor that fosters a supportive school atmosphere
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings
Selection Process:Candidates will undergo a two-stage interview process, first meeting with the Special Education Coordinator, followed by an interview with the School Principal.
Location:This role requires onsite presence at Little Raven Elementary School in Arvada, Colorado.
