Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This is an In Person position and must report to the yard daily. The ideal candidate will have experience truck driving. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for retrieving materials for the manufacturing of our Ready-Mix Concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role is essential in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining our reputation for excellent service and materials.
Duties
- Operate Western Star Tractor Trailer safely.
- Execute route driving to deliver freight to business locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, routes taken, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding and pick up issues with materials and any potential delays.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of freight to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
- No Weekends
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- TWIC card
- Tank Endorsement required
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.
