Role Description
This is a part time or full-time, on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist located in Jackson, TN. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and maintaining imaging equipment. The role also includes patient interaction, ensuring accurate documentation, and collaborating with medical professionals for accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and expertise in Nuclear Medicine
- Skills in Radiation Safety and handling Radiopharmaceuticals
- Strong understanding of Medicine and diagnostic imaging procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field is preferred
