Experienced Dental Assistant - Oral & Periodontal Surgery
We are a leading oral and periodontal surgery practice committed to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and professional environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Surgical Assistance: Assist the doctor during all oral and periodontal surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and soft tissue procedures.
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for surgery, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, and ensure they feel comfortable and calm throughout their visit.
- Sterilization & Setup: Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to OSHA and infection control guidelines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and surgical logs.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the entire surgical team to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, with a strong background in oral surgery, periodontics, or a similar surgical environment.
- Certifications: Active Dental Assisting certification/license in New York and up-to-date x-ray certification are required.
- Exceptional People Skills: Proven ability to interact with patients with empathy and professionalism, especially those with dental anxiety.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a respectful and cooperative work environment.
