Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time opportunity is ideal for Special Education Teachers seeking to work in Elementary, Middle, or High School self-contained classrooms during the 2025-2026 school year. Positions are located in the Cloquet, MN area, with options for those interested in traveling or relocating to the Tampa area. While immediate placement is not required, candidates interested in exploring opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year are encouraged to connect and discuss available options.

Teachers will support students diagnosed with Emotional Behavior Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, addressing diverse learning levels and exceptionalities. Class sizes range from 4 to 5 students, with collaboration and assistance from behavior specialists and instructional assistants. CPI training will be provided to ensure effective management of challenging behaviors within the classroom.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Previous experience working in self-contained Exceptional Student Education (ESE) classrooms
  • Proficiency in IEP writing and development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Bachelors degree in Exceptional Student Education or related field

Responsibilities will include implementing individualized education programs tailored to each students unique needs, collaborating with support staff, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
