Status: Full Time
Shift: Day Shift
Wage: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00/annual salary, + $10,000.00 Retention Bonus paid quarterly over your first year, and annual bonus potential!

Responsibilities:
- Delegates tasks according to the State Regulations (ensures a written physicians order, assess the resident condition as stable, ensure the caregiver is capable of performing the task by observation of that caregiver’s performance, ensures training of the task to the caregiver, provides written instructions and a return demonstration of the task, documents the task delegated on the resident’s service plan).
- Develop and maintain a good rapport with all parties involved with the service plan to ensure that a team effort is achieved in developing a comprehensive service plan.
- Review the 24-hour report and health monitoring and make recommendations as needed.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the health service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Coordinate services amongst the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Ensure that all personnel involved in providing care to the resident are aware of the resident’s service plan. Ensure that nursing personnel refer to the resident’s service plan prior to administering daily care to the resident.
- Review IR reports and assist with the investigation and recommendations as needed.
- Complete Alert Log and Alert reporting. Follow guidelines for Alert Charting criteria.
- Review all physician orders timely.
- Complete Change in condition assessments per company policy.
- Complete Quarterly assessments per company policy.
- Complete admission assessments required by Registered Nurse per company policy.
- Follow guidelines for skin tracking, monitoring, and treatments.
- Participate in developing the Service Plan when residents receive health services. Make recommendations for service plans as needed.
- Assist with the assessment and selection of residents for admission to the community, if applicable
- Work well with others and promote teamwork.
- Responsible to manage and maintain departmental budgets. As well as meet budget expectations.
- Assure that all residents’ rights are known and followed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care community, or other related health care community.
- Must have, as a minimum six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
- Must be able to proficiently operate a computer. Must possess basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
