Essential Duties:
Primarily responsible for preparing plumbing estimates, identifying labor, material, and time requirements.
- Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of material, equipment, and labor
- Receive quotes from vendors/suppliers whom we will use their services/items and/or the project
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Maintain relationships with company suppliers and vendors
- Track bids sent to clients
- Presenting prepared and neat estimates to management
- Maintain relationships with company suppliers and vendors
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate-level knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Report writing and strategic planning skills
- Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for all projects
- Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
- Must be able to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Able to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions
- Ability to work independently and carry-out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
