Job Description

We are seeking a Material Expeditor / Saw Operator to join our team! The Material Expeditor will be responsible for the flow of work and materials to the production team.

Responsibilities:

Yield material and minimize waste
Be able to meet the work flow/speed of the production team
Operate large saw safely and efficiently
Maintain and keep accurate records
Review and distribute material in a timely manner
Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates
Comunicate inventory levels
Review and communicate production status
Serve as point of contact between production and planning teams

Qualifications:

Experience operating a large saw is a must
Construction, Production, Planning or any Manufacturing Experience is a plus
Strong math skills in order to minimize waste
Must know basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
Strong project management skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in teams
Able to work safely at all times

Physical Demands

Moving parts, machine noise
Able to walk/stand for hours at a time
Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 100 pounds independently.
Use of hands and fingers
Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process

Regular Hours: Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Saturdays and Overtime as needed. 2nd shift opportunities may be available.

Starting rate depends on experience.

Full-time employees are eligible for the shipping bonus plan based on performance and attendance.
