In the role of Director of Pediatric Anesthesia, you will serve as both the clinical and academic leader for this subspecialty. This diverse position is perfect for someone who is dedicated to clinical excellence and medical education within a dynamic teaching atmosphere.

Clinical & Administrative Leadership: You will provide expert oversight and coordination of complex pediatric anesthesia care, acting as the primary clinical resource.

Academic Leadership & Mentorship: You will influence the training of future anesthesiologists within the ACGME-accredited residency program through direct teaching, supervision, and curriculum development.

Strategic Program Growth: You will lead the development and expansion of ambulatory pediatric anesthesia services, innovating to improve patient access and address community needs.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role as a faculty leader and mentor within the ACGME-accredited Anesthesia Residency Program. You will join a collegial team of 48 attending anesthesiologists in an academic environment, overseeing a diverse and expanding pediatric caseload of approximately 1,600 cases annually, which offers numerous teaching opportunities. This position also provides access to extensive resources, professional development, and a collaborative network within our organization. This balanced role merges high-level clinical practice with the advancement of academic medicine.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.

Board Certified in Anesthesiology.

Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology.

Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology.

Possession of a New York State medical license.

A strong commitment to teaching, mentorship, and resident education is essential, along with demonstrated leadership experience.
