Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and organized Human Resource Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. In this temporary-to-hire role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our human resources department, as well as serving as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic, growing organization, with the potential for the position to transition into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the human resources team, including data entry, file management, and assisting with employee onboarding and off-boarding processes
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees, and direct them to the appropriate personnel or resources
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area, ensuring it is well-stocked and presentable
- Provide general clerical and office support as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or in a similar clerical/office role
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
Working Conditions:
This position is based in a standard office environment, with occasional periods of standing or light physical activity. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the potential for some overtime as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a temporary-to-hire position with a target pay rate of $22 per hour. Upon successful completion of the temporary assignment, the position may transition to a permanent role with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
