Pride Health is hiring a Medical Customer Service Representative to support our client's medical facilities based in San Antonio, TX 78257. This is a 4-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Medical Customer Service Representative
Location: San Antonio, TX 78257
Duration: 4+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Pay rate: $12 – 13.14/hr. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience /educational qualifications)
Schedule: 8 hr. shift between 8 am – 6 pm (40 hrs. wk.) | Mon – Fri (5 days/wk.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound member calls (auto-dialer) to address medication non-compliance, schedule pharmacy telephonic visits, and obtain provider follow-up information
- Thrive in high-volume call center environments while consistently meeting weekly and monthly productivity standards
- Deliver high-quality customer service to internal teams, providers, and members
- Multitask across multiple systems/applications to provide accurate, real-time information
- Manage escalated inquiries across queues, fax portals, claims systems, and documentation platforms
- Accurately document member and provider interactions in appropriate records and systems
- Support clinical staff and leadership with administrative tasks, reports, projects, and specialized assignments
- Collaborate with PCPs and clinics to support quality data collection and close care gaps
- Maintain strict confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, professionalism, and adherence to organizational and departmental policies
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a call center environment
- 1+ years of experience in Customer Service
- Background in a Healthcare setting (Familiarity with Healthcare Terminology needed)
