Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 20262027 school year in Camp Lejeune, NC. This role provides critical psychological services within a local school district, supporting student development and success under the guidance of ProCare Therapy as the contracted employer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating cognitive, social, functional, and personal development for all students.
  • Identifying and assessing learning, behavioral, developmental, functional, and mental health needs.
  • Using assessment data to design and implement appropriate interventions and programs.
  • Collaborating in the planning, development, and evaluation of student support programs.
  • Providing consultation to parents, teachers, school personnel, and community agencies.
  • Delivering coordinated psychological services and actively participating in IEP teams.
  • Upholding professional ethics, standards, and legal requirements in school psychological services.
  • Keeping accurate records and adhering to timelines and standards.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina educators license as a School Psychologist.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within school teams and community resources.
  • Strong communication and assessment skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and driving between sites.
  • Capacity to manage a dynamic, sometimes noisy educational environment with sensitivity and professionalism.

This 10-month exempt contract position offers the NC School Psychologist Salary Schedule and requires physical ability to assist in emergencies and therapeutic situations.
