About The Role
The Senior Graphic Designer – North America plays a key role in bringing the KEVIN.MURPHY brand to life through visually compelling, on-brand creative across all channels. This role is responsible for developing and executing design solutions that support marketing, education, and sales initiatives across North America, ensuring alignment with the brand’s global creative direction. Reporting to the Design/Art Director, the Senior Graphic Designer serves as the regional design lead, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality creative assets, including campaign materials, packaging, digital content, visual merchandising, and educational tools, that drive engagement, support business objectives, and reinforce the brand’s premium, fashion-focused positioning. This position requires a designer who understands both the creative and commercial aspects of brand storytelling. The role exists to ensure design excellence, consistency, and innovation across every regional touchpoint, while adapting global concepts to meet local market needs.

- Deliver On-Brand, High-Impact Design Across North America: Produce visually compelling creative that aligns with KEVIN.MURPHY’s global brand direction while resonating with the North American market across campaigns, packaging, digital, and in-salon experiences.
- Adapt Global Creative for Regional Relevance: Localise and evolve global toolkits, campaigns, and creative systems to reflect market nuances, ensuring consistency in message and execution across all regional channels.
- Support Commercial and Marketing Initiatives Through Design Excellence: Partner with the Marketing, Sales, and Education teams to translate strategy into creative solutions that enhance customer engagement, drive sell-through, and elevate brand presence across B2B and consumer touchpoints.
- Ensure Design Quality, Accuracy, and Production Readiness: Maintain exceptional standards across all deliverables, from initial concept through to print and digital production, ensuring all assets meet brand, technical, and timing requirements.
- Foster Creative Collaboration and Workflow Efficiency: Champion a collaborative, feedback-driven design process that strengthens partnerships across global and regional teams, while managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Design & Brand Storytelling
- Design and produce visually compelling assets across print, digital, and physical formats to support brand execution across North America.
- Translate the KEVIN.MURPHY brand strategy and creative direction into distinctive, modern, and on-brand design solutions.
- Contribute to the development and adaptation of global toolkits and campaign systems, ensuring flexibility across regional markets and channels.
- Maintain brand consistency and uphold design excellence across all creative outputs.
Digital Design
- Create and adapt digital assets for social media, CRM/email, web, and motion graphics that strengthen brand storytelling and audience engagement.
- Partner with Marketing and Digital teams to deliver engaging, data-informed creative that supports campaign performance and customer experience.
Visual Merchandising & Packaging Design
- Develop visual merchandising, retail, and event design materials that bring the brand to life across salons, trade shows, and pop-up experiences.
- Design packaging, labels, and printed collateral with precision, ensuring adherence to brand standards, production requirements, and print quality.
- Collaborate with printers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure flawless execution and material excellence.
Education Design
- Partner with Global and North American Education teams to design, adapt, and localise education materials across print, digital, and motion media.
- Transform complex educational content into visually engaging, stylist-friendly design that inspires and elevates learning experiences.
Collaboration, Planning & Execution
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Education, and Sales teams to interpret briefs, define creative priorities, and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity, precision, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Present concepts and design solutions confidently, incorporating feedback and iteration to achieve the best outcome.
Ideal Skills Competencies & Experience
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with motion, animation, or video editing a plus.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and colour theory with an aesthetic attuned to premium, fashion-led design.
- Skilled in designing across digital and print formats, including campaign assets, social content, packaging, and environmental graphics.
- Confident in production processes, print preparation, and liaising with external vendors to ensure design integrity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly articulate design rationale and creative concepts.

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- 4+ years of professional design experience within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries preferred.
- Proven experience creating visual assets for both digital and physical environments, from campaign visuals to in-store merchandising.
- Experience working within or supporting global brand systems while tailoring design for regional relevance.
- Portfolio demonstrating premium, contemporary design sensibility and a strong eye for brand consistency.
