We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our successful spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team. Certified Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic massage through a variety of trained modalities. You will also be performing body scrubs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
  • Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
  • Maintain accurate records of each session
  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
  • Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
  • Ensure a clean and safe facility
  • Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.


Qualifications

  • Hold current state license to practice massage therapy
  • Willing to learn new modalities and continue training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
  • High level of ethics and integrity.
  • A passion for helping people look and feel their best.
  • Certified Massage Therapist
  • Proficient in Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue, and hot stones massage modalities
  • 2 Years experience
  • Some experience with sales
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer-oriented, friendly but professional approach
  • Positive attitude and patience

Requirements:

  • Administer therapy treatments to clients using hands or physical treatment aids.
  • Interview clients to gather health information.
  • Maintain records and notes.
  • Assess physical conditions of clients to aid in treatment.
  • Treat clients in professional settings
  • Maintain service room to standards.
  • Develop client therapy programs.
  • Refer clients to other types of therapists when necessary.
  • Prepare and blend oils and apply the blends to clients' skin.
  • Use complementary aids, such as hot stones, wet compresses to promote clients' recovery, relaxation, and well-being
