As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our operational efforts and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing low voltage construction, security systems integration, and alarm projects with strong leadership and job cost management skills.

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the organization. This role involves overseeing all operational aspects including project execution, system installations, service delivery, and process optimization. Youll manage teams supporting access control, CCTV, and structured cabling projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while maintaining quality and compliance.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee low voltage construction and security integration projects, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and profitability.
  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies and plans that align with the companys goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to project managers, field technicians, and installers, ensuring they are motivated and working effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance quality, and reduce costs across security alarm, fire alarm, and structured cabling operations.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage personnel, equipment, and materials for installation and service teams to meet operational demand.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all access control, CCTV, and communications systems meet or exceed client and regulatory standards.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with security equipment manufacturers and distributors to secure resources and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Performance Metrics: Track KPIs related to project completion, service response time, and client satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and maintain contingency plans to address operational disruptions or emergencies.


Required Skills & Abilities

  • Experience managing low voltage, security alarm, access control, CCTV, or fire alarm operations.
  • Ability to think and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, and cost tracking systems.
  • Ability to work with clients, account representatives, and vendors to resolve complex system and operational issues.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and low voltage codes.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and resource management capabilities.


Education, License and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, related field or transferable, relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in operations management, with a track record of improving efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000, based on experience and qualifications
