Assistant Director of Enrollment
Job Description
Job DescriptionAssistant Director of Enrollment
University of the Potomac
At University of the Potomac, we believe higher education should feel personal — not transactional.
For more than 30 years, we’ve supported students from all walks of life: working professionals, international learners, first-generation students, and those navigating non-traditional pathways into higher education. Our mission is to make education accessible, affordable, and meaningful for busy, goal-driven learners.
We’re looking for an Assistant Director of Enrollment who thrives in a relationship-driven role and enjoys being at the center of student communication, connection, and opportunity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you’ll be a consistent point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through their decision-making process while collaborating closely with internal teams.
You will:
• Engage with prospective students through email, phone, and virtual meetings to answer questions and provide timely guidance
• Build long-term relationships with students, families, and community partners
• Support outreach and enrollment initiatives that connect students to the programs that best fit their goals
• Work closely with financial services and academic teams to support a smooth, supportive, and welcoming enrollment experience
• Represent the University at orientations, open houses, and recruitment events
• Track communication and engagement activity using institutional systems
WHY THE UNIVERSITY OF THE POTOMAC
What sets us apart is our family-oriented environment and our commitment to meeting students where they are. You’ll work with learners from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and career paths — and you’ll have the opportunity to help them explore multiple academic and professional options that align with their ambitions.
Here, your work is about creating access, building trust, and being part of a community that genuinely cares.
