We are seeking a candidate with experience in employer relations/work injuries and or someone with interest in mentorship and gaining exceptional skills in this area.

All candidates must have excellent communication, strong leadership ability, independent thinking, analytical problems solving skills, ability to communicate with all members of the health care team, and knowledge of computer applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualized orthopedic care to a diverse outpatient population, including injured workers.
• Become the clinical champion for workers’ compensation, work conditioning, and employer services at the Avenue.
• Inherit existing employer relationships and services while actively identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth.
• Build strong internal referral relationships across Rock Valley so clinicians know when and how to connect appropriate patients with the Avenue’s work-conditioning and employer-services programs.
• Develop expertise in post-offer employment testing (POET), including WorkSTEPS protocols and drug-screening services delivered in-house at the Avenue.
• Grow into additional capabilities such as functional capacity evaluations and job-site assessments as the program and your expertise develop.

Desired Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with employers, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Interest or experience in occupational health, workers' compensation, employer services, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Ability to balance clinical care, case management, and employer partnership responsibilities.
• For new graduates, a strong desire to learn through mentorship and develop expertise in occupational health, employer relations, and workers' compensation services.

Support and Growth

You will not be asked to build this alone. Mentorship and training will be provided through Rock Valley’s Employer Services team, the Avenue’s Employer Services specialist, and Avenue clinic leadership. As the program grows, the role is expected to evolve into the Avenue Employer Services Lead, with the potential for protected development time and relevant training or certification in POET/WorkSTEPS and functional capacity evaluations based on program needs and demonstrated performance.

A Clinic Built for This Work

The Avenue is an approximately 6,000-square-foot clinic with five private treatment rooms, six gym treatment tables, a fitness area, and dedicated work-conditioning space. You will join a collaborative team of physical therapists, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist assistant, an Employer

Services specialist, a strength and conditioning professional, and experienced front-office support.
