Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) on a contract basis, supporting students during a leave coverage at a high school. This opportunity begins in August 2026 and runs through November or December 2026, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment.
You’ll collaborate with a supportive team, including on-site SLPAs, and manage a caseload of approximately 45 students. Your expertise will help students enhance their communication skills and reach their fullest academic potential.
Qualifications:
- Valid CA SLP license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or SLPA credential
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans for diverse student needs
- Commitment to fostering student growth and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write progress notes, and collaborate on IEP teams
- Partner with SLPAs and education staff for seamless service delivery
- Communicate regularly with families on student progress and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school requirements
