Job DescriptionJob Summary/Company:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Patient Care Coordinator to support our community clinic team by maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. This is a 4 month contract role, vital in ensuring the integrity of our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, assisting with data entry, and updating patient files to support high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update patient information in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical patient files in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with data entry tasks related to patient care, billing, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Review patient records for completeness and follow up on missing or unclear information.
- Support quality assurance efforts by identifying and correcting data discrepancies.
- Respond to internal requests for patient information in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the care coordination team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare certification preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or medical records role is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

This job is In-Person.
Pay Range: Hourly $20.00 to $22.00
