Shift: 3:00PM-3:00AM
Monday-Friday
Overtime pay for this role is: $27.00/Hr and there is weekly overtime available
Job Summary
We are actively seeking dedicated Food Manufacturing Sanitarians to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food processing plant. In this vital role, you will ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are meticulously maintained, supporting the production of safe and high-quality food products. Your expertise will help uphold compliance with federal and state regulations, including FDA guidelines, HACCP principles, and CGMP standards. This position offers consistent pay every scheduled period, emphasizing stability and recognition for your valuable contributions.
Duties
Execute daily cleaning schedules for all production lines, equipment, and facility areas according to strict hygiene standards
Verify that all sanitation activities comply with FDA regulations, HACCP plans, and CGMP requirements
Conduct microbiological testing or coordinate testing to confirm cleanliness levels meet safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, including raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products
Assist in troubleshooting sanitation-related issues by applying mechanical knowledge to identify root causes
Ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety guidelines
Requirements
Prior experience working in a food industry manufacturing or processing plant environment
Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety practices
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot sanitation equipment issues
Understanding of food processing workflows and sanitation procedures
Willingness to obtain forklift certification (nice-to-have)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Basic math skills for recording inspection data accurately
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high hygiene standards
