Holt Communications, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Finance Coordinator (Staff Accountant) to take ownership of invoicing, payroll, and financial coordination. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, accountability, and confidence in our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate employee and subcontractor timesheets
- Review and organize project-related expenses
- Manage invoice deadlines and billing cycles
- Run reports and compile data for client invoice preparation
- Draft, review, and finalize client invoices (project-based billing)
- Enter invoices and expenses into QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process employee payroll and reimbursements
- Ensure alignment with contracts, budgets, and billing requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of accounting, billing, or financial coordination experience
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with project-based or timesheet-based billing
- Proficiency in Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government or infrastructure-related contracts
- Experience in a professional services or consulting firm
- Familiarity with payroll systems
