Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Radiologic Technologist opportunity is available on a contract basis in Keaau, HI. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience operating radiographic equipment independently, with strong knowledge of radiation safety and protocols. Candidates must hold a current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Proficient in operating radiographic equipment without supervision
  • Knowledgeable in radiation safety procedures; must wear dosimeter badge
  • Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required before assignment start
  • ARRT certification and BLS certification mandatory
  • Experience with Epic EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred

Responsibilities include performing X-ray imaging independently, adhering to radiation safety standards, and collaborating effectively within the healthcare team. Candidates will need to arrive on the Friday before their Monday start date to complete HR and employee health clearance appointments, with a Thursday arrival prior to that for employee health if needed.

This position offers varied day and evening shifts, with an average of three call days per month. Flexibility is required as there is no guarantee of specific hours or time off.
