Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in a contract position. Key Qualifications:

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in respiratory therapy treatments and patient assessment
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer respiratory care treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses and modify treatments as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure pliance with safety protocols

Schedule & Hours:

• 36 hours per week
• Every Other Week (EOW) schedule
