This is a remote position.

Sole Hire is seeking an experienced MSP Procurement Manager to oversee the full procurement lifecycle within a fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.

This role is responsible for sourcing hardware and software, managing Microsoft 365/Azure licensing, maintaining distributor relationships, and ensuring seamless integration between ERP and PSA systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with D365 Business Central, Autotask, and CloudRadial, along with a strong background in procurement within IT services or an MSP environment.

Important Details

  • This position will begin as a 1099 contract role, with the opportunity to convert to full-time employment after 90 days.

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

  • Completion of preliminary screening questions is required for consideration.

  • Candidate must be in the EST or CT time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Source, purchase, and track hardware, software, and cloud services.

  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party SaaS licensing (adds, removals, renewals, true-ups).

  • Standardize procurement processes to improve efficiency, visibility, and compliance.

  • Negotiate pricing and terms with distributors and vendors (Ingram, Pax8, TD Synnex, etc.).

  • Onboard and evaluate vendors to support client technology needs.

  • Configure and manage Autotask procurement workflows (tickets, approvals, purchase orders).

  • Implement and optimize CloudRadial procurement modules for client self-service.

  • Integrate procurement workflows into D365 Business Central for reporting, invoicing, and PO management.

  • Partner with Finance to reconcile invoices and track margins.

  • Prepare procurement reports, spend forecasts, and renewal tracking updates for leadership.

  • Collaborate with vCIOs and Service Delivery teams to align purchasing strategy with client QBR planning.



RequirementsQualifications

  • 3–5 years of procurement or vendor management experience (MSP or IT services strongly preferred).

  • Hands-on experience with D365 Business Central, Autotask, and CloudRadial.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and SaaS licensing management.

  • Experience with ERP/PSA integrations and procurement automation.

  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and financial reconciliation skills.

  • Ability to document workflows and improve operational processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM practices.

  • Advanced Excel or Power BI skills for procurement dashboards.

  • Experience building integrations between ERP, PSA, and distributor/vendor portals.
