Job Overview
Join Elevate Care Providers LLC as a Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) providing one-on-one skilled nursing care in the comfort of a patient’s home. This role offers consistent hours, a low-stress environment, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
As a Private Duty Nurse, you will support patients with medically complex needs while promoting safety, comfort, and independence in a home setting. You’ll work closely with the patient’s care team and family to ensure continuity of care and excellent outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in the home setting
- Administer medications as ordered
- Perform G-button / tube feeding administration
- Provide nebulizer treatments and suctioning
- Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly
- Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and other ADLs as needed
- Follow the physician’s plan of care and nursing orders
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Communicate effectively with families, care coordinators, and supervisors
- Ensure infection control and patient safety at all times
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN or LPN license (required)
- Experience in private duty nursing, home care, or skilled nursing preferred
- Comfortable with G-tube care, suctioning, and medication administration
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to pass background screening and meet state requirements
