Legends Pharmacy is hiring a Part-Time Staff Pharmacist to support evening and Saturday shifts in a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy environment. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists seeking predictable part-time hours, no retail customers, and a clinical-focused workflow.

Our pharmacists play a critical role in supporting nursing facilities and ensuring safe, accurate medication dispensing for long-term care residents.

Staff Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians

• Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled substances (DEA compliance)

• Communicate with nursing staff and facility partners regarding medication orders

• Support inventory management and daily pharmacy operations

• Assist with workflow during peak operational hours

• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

• Active Texas Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license

• Long-term care pharmacy or institutional experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in an evening coverage role

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule

• Part-Time

• Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• One weekday off each week
