KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Culinary Skills:Prepare all food items based on standardized recipes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Attention to Detail:Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas at all times.
- Time Management:Complete necessary food and station preparations efficiently to ensure prompt service during operating hours.
- Communication Skills:Convey information and ideas clearly, and work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Problem-Solving:Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately to address kitchen challenges.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen.
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Food Handlers Certification as required by state regulations.
