Job Description CNC & Manual Machinists Wanted
Location: Centennial, CO
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Pay Range: $22.00 – $44.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level
About the Role
We are expanding our machining team and looking for Machinists at all levels, from motivated entry‑level candidates to highly skilled professionals. In this role, you’ll produce high‑precision metal components used in advanced manufacturing and assembly applications. You’ll work with both CNC and manual equipment, hold tight tolerances, and solve machining challenges that require precision and expertise.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on technical work, learning new skills, and contributing to complex, high‑quality manufacturing projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and speed‑cell machines
- Machine components to tight tolerances (±.0001) by interpreting detailed blueprints
- Utilize precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Perform multiple daily changeovers (3–4 per shift)
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and gauges for each job
- Program, modify, and adjust CNC offsets as needed
- Operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and perform drilling/tapping
- Apply geometric and trigonometric principles to machining tasks
- Support production demands and assist with assembly rework when needed
- Safely lift materials up to 50 lbs
Experience & Qualifications
Entry‑Level Candidates
- 1+ year of machining experience or related technical schooling
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Foundational G & M code knowledge
- Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude
Experienced Machinists
- 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience in an industrial setting
- Advanced blueprint interpretation skills
- Strong command of G & M code
- Proven troubleshooting and critical‑thinking abilities
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with ODI grinders, rigging, or crane operation
- Exposure to Mazatrol controls
- Experience programming or editing with Mastercam
- Strong manual machining
- High school diploma or GED (vocational or technical certification preferred)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centennial, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $44.00/hr.
