Role Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Psychiatrist (MD/DO) licensed in Georgia to join our team as an independent contractor. This role combines direct outpatient care with opportunities for collaboration and leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
You’ll work with a hybrid model (in-office + telehealth) and provide psychiatric evaluations, therapy as appropriate, and medication management. This position also includes the supervision of PMHNPs under Georgia Composite Medical Board regulations — with stipends available for each NP supervised.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across the lifespan.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management.
- Offer supportive therapy and crisis intervention as appropriate.
- Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, and other professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Supervise PMHNPs (chart reviews, consultations) per Georgia law.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance standards.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active Georgia medical license.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN).
- Active DEA license.
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry (preferred).
- Experience supervising PMHNPs a plus (but not required).
- Commitment to trauma-informed, patient-centered care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation – annualized $240K+ depending on caseload (1099 contractor model).
- Supervision Stipend – $1,000/month for first PMHNP, +$500 for each additional.
- Flexibility – choose a 2–5 day workweek with hybrid scheduling.
- Administrative Support – Billing, credentialing, and scheduling are handled by our team.
- Growth Opportunity – Long-term partnership potential as we scale our practice.
