Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Flexo Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials while meeting safety, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate flexographic printing machines according to job specifications.
- Review work orders, print layouts, and color requirements.
- Mix inks and adjust color, registration, and impression as needed.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
- Inspect printed materials for defects and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and production staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating flexographic printing equipment required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow job tickets, production instructions, and layouts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Lead or advanced flexo experience is a plus.
