Job Title: Part-Time Grant Writer
Location: Greenville NC with remote options

St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church is dedicated to being a resource for our surrounding community members, whether they ever have a desire to be a part of our church or not. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grant Writer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is self motivated and wants to make the most out of an extra 10 hours a week.
Position Overview:
The Part-Time Grant Writer will be responsible for identifying, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate our mission into compelling proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities.
- Write clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant proposals.
- Collaborate with staff to gather necessary information for applications.
- Track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant writing (nonprofit or related field preferred).
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with fundraising databases or tracking tools (a plus).
Hours & Compensation:
- Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week
- Flexible schedule, with remote work options available.
- Compensation negotiable with a minimum of 7.5% of all awarded funds.
Deadline:
· Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
