Job Description

Tinton Falls Cooperative Preschool is looking for a PART TIME Preschool Teacher for our 2 1/2 - 3 -year-old class for the 2025-2026 school year.

Our 2 1/2 - 3-year-old class meets Monday through Thursday mornings. Our new hire will also have_ the option _of working additional hours as they are available including Friday mornings. There is also an option to work at our Summer Camp.

We are hiring a teacher who is energetic, engaged, and enjoys exploring and discovering life with young children. All candidates must be able to sit and play on the floor, work at low tables, participate in large motor activities, carry children up to 40 pounds, and be physically able to carry out all duties and responsibilities of a teacher in the classroom.

TFCP requires our teachers to have teaching experience and either a teaching certificate (P-3 or K-8) with at least two years of experience in an Early Childhood Educational setting or have taken Early Childhood Classes with multiple years of experience in an Early Childhood Educational situation.

Teachers Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for 2 1/2 - 3-year-old students.
Create a nurturing learning environment.
Manage classroom activities.
Work with and manage adult volunteers and paraprofessionals in the classroom.
Effectively communicate with young learners and their parents.
Continually adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Connecting with colleagues to further enhance the community experience for our families.
