Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year at an early childhood school in Patterson, CA. This contract position is ideal for an SLP with experience working in pediatric or school settings, particularly with preschool to kindergarten-age children or those in autism-focused classrooms for grades K-2.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or school-based SLP settings
- Eligible or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with early childhood education and autism spectrum disorder support
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy for preschool to grade 6 students, focusing on early childhood and autism-related caseloads (K-2)
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers

- Location: Patterson, California
- Contract duration: Full academic school year (NSY)
- Hours: Full-time, serving one school with one assigned caseload

- Supervision will not be provided by paraprofessionals or other healthcare staff
