IMKO is recruiting a full-time Accounts Payable Assistant for a long-term position with a very fast-paced industrial business. Accounts Payable Assistant reviews and posts vender invoices, reconciles vendor statements and supports timely payments. As a member of the accounting team, accuracy and efficiency are essential to completing tasks in a timely manner. Accounts Payable Assistant responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to:
- Ability to interact with all staff members, coworkers, venders and customers with a pleasant demeanor.
- Strong communication both verbal and written skills.
- Data entry.
- Memo post accounts payable vendor invoices and reconcile monthly statements from vendors.
- Review and post vendor invoices for other team members.
- Assist with accounts receivable monthly statements.
- Restock printer, fax, copiers, office machines with paper, and let IT know when toner is low.
- Vendor accounts reconciliation as assigned.
- Assist Accounts Payable Manager/Controller as needed.
- Work with other departments with special projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED.
- Office experience. (Preferred)
- The ability to communicate with all team members.
- Basic math skills, calculate discounts, interest and percentages.
- Use keyboard, a tenkey and adding machine.
- Data entry skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- High ethical and moral standards.
- Valid Driver's License.
