Doral Centre Animal Hospital Emergency & Trauma Center is seeking a Hospital Administrator to lead operations at our brand-new cutting-edge facility serving the pets and families of Doral and the greater Miami area.

Our mission is to provide compassionate, advanced medical care when it's needed most. As we transition into our new, state-of-the-art 8,000 sq. ft. facility in Summer 2025, complete with 8 exam rooms, a dedicated oncology department, and cutting-edge CT technology, we are poised to redefine emergency and specialty veterinary care in South Florida.

As the Hospital Administrator, you will serve as the strategic leader responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving growth initiatives, and expanding our service offerings. In close partnership with the Medical Director, you’ll help shape the hospital’s vision and play a key role in building our reputation as a leading provider of emergency and specialty veterinary care. This includes identifying opportunities for new specialty service lines, attracting top clinical talent, and ensuring operational excellence that supports both patient outcomes and long-term business success.


What your day will look like

  • Strategic Growth & Brand Development: Lead initiatives to enhance our brand presence, expand service lines, and position Doral Centre as a premier destination for emergency and specialty care.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient daily operations across all departments, including client services, HR, facilities, and finance.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
  • Client & Community Engagement: Enhance client satisfaction through exceptional service, clear communication, and effective problem resolution.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and hospital policies.


What We’re Looking ForWe seek a dynamic and experienced leader with:

  • Proven Leadership: Minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial role within a veterinary practice, with a strong background in managing hospital finances and operations. Previous practice management experience is required; veterinary ER/specialty experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strategic Vision: Experience in growing a hospital's brand and expanding service offerings, with a focus on emergency and specialty care.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.
  • Team Building: Proven success in leading and developing teams, with a focus on mentorship and professional growth.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Veterinary Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in veterinary practice management (CVPM) is a plus.
