In this dynamic position, you'll help guide a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional early childhood education in a warm, supportive setting.

\nAs Assistant Director, you'll work hand-in-hand with the Center Director to keep daily operations running smoothly — from supervising staff and overseeing educational programming to maintaining licensing compliance and upholding the highest standards of child safety. You'll also serve as a key point of contact for families, cultivating the trust and open communication that make our community thrive.

\nResponsibilities:

  • Assist the Center Director in daily operations and management of the childcare facility.
  • \n

  • Support curriculum development and implementation to ensure engaging learning experiences.
  • \n

  • Supervise and mentor teaching staff to promote professional growth and best practices.
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
  • \n

  • Foster positive relationships with families and the community to enhance enrollment.
  • \n

  • Conduct regular assessments of program quality and implement improvements as needed.
  • \n

  • Manage staff scheduling and maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios.
  • \n

  • Participate in marketing efforts to promote the center and attract new families.
  • \n

Requirements:

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff and families.
  • \n

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of educators.
  • \n

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • \n

  • Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
  • \n

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • \n
