Vice President of Finance
Healthcare Industry | Executive Leadership Opportunity
Summary:
The Vice President of Finance will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, guiding all aspects of financial operations to support the organization’s mission and growth. This role oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, planning and analysis, IT, revenue cycle management, and performance improvement. The VP of Finance provides strategic insight, operational excellence, and hands-on leadership to ensure financial integrity and sustainability across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all accounting, financial reporting, and analysis functions, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Direct financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align resources with strategic goals.
Oversee IT systems and providers to ensure effective, secure, and scalable operations.
Develop and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Manage the revenue cycle to optimize cash flow and reimbursement processes.
Partner with senior leadership to evaluate business opportunities, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
Coordinate audits and maintain compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements.
Hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Provide data-driven insights that inform executive decision-making and organizational strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
Minimum of three years in a senior financial leadership role.
MBA, CPA, or related advanced credential strongly preferred.
Experience in healthcare or nonprofit finance highly valued.
Proven track record in developing and implementing financial systems and processes.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaboration across teams.
Demonstrated success in aligning financial strategy with organizational goals.
