Position Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in food, agricultural, or commodity products and a passion for process optimization and cross-functional collaboration. The position will play a key role in building, managing, and improving supply chain systems that support business growth and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine supply chain strategies for the sourcing, production, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Manage procurement activities for packaging, raw materials, consumables, and supplies.
  • Oversee transportation and logistics to ensure efficient and timely delivery to distributors, customers, and retail partners.
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimize waste, control costs, and optimize storage capacity.
  • Collaborate with production teams to forecast demand and align supply chain operations with business goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, logistics partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and food safety standards in coordination with compliance teams.
  • Manage department budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop product knowledge to effectively support internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to track trends, competitor activity, and customer demands, and use insights to inform supply chain decisions.
  • Collaborate across departmentsincluding operations, logistics, and accountingto ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Provide post-delivery support to resolve issues related to service, delivery, or product quality.


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the food, agriculture, or commodity sectors
  • Proven expertise in procurement, order management, and vendor relations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with inventory and cost control strategies
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite)
  • Willingness to travel as needed for vendor meetings and industry events

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
